THINGS GET DAMMAGED, THINGS GET BROKEN...MONTE ALBAN

This photographic tryptichon sets the first chapter of a visual poem, depending on the history of Mexico. The pictures where done in pre Columbian archaelogical site in southern Mexican state of Oaxaca. Besides being one of the earliest cities of Mesoamerica, Monte Albán's importance stems also from its role as the pre-eminent, socio-political and economic center for close to a thousand years. The Middleformat photographs were done in the foggy throw off a hurrican. Three little reference oil-paintings show the position of the camera.
